Sunny is the most beautiful and happiest 2 year old female Terrier Blend.
Hi, I’m Sunny. My foster mom named me that because I’m a happy girl. I’m happiest when I am with someone who loves and trusts me, because when they do, I can go anywhere. The only thing is that I still get scared of big trucks and loud noises.
I love going for walks so I can say hi to my friends and zoom with them in the park. My favourite is a run in the forest or along the beach but I don’t like swimming – what is swimming?! No, thank you. A nice warm cosy bath? Yes, sure.
My foster mom says I didn’t come from a good home. I was very scared and skinny. I’ll eat pretty much anything expect weird things like broccoli. She feeds me a mix of pellets and raw food. I’m not mad about peanut butter biscuits but I’ll crunch into a good bone. I’m not particularly food motivated but I will sit and give paw for treats. I aim to please and impress.
During the day, I love lying in bed or sunbathing. I won’t really bother you much and I don’t mind being left alone when you go out for work or even overnight with friends. I’m fine, as long as I have food, water, and space to do my business. Cuddles and scratches take me to my happy place, my eyes close and my tail wags. To be honest, I could probably never have enough pets and kisses.
When I’m over-stimulated I get anxious, especially in new environments and with some animals. I had a brother and we loved to play. I have lived with other dogs, and mostly we are fine. I am still learning boundaries so socialising is important. I will let you know when I’m over-stimulated but with proper introductions I’m friendly, and fast. Catch me if you can, I’m fast!!
All-in-all, I am lovable and just want to be part of a caring family. I hope that we can meet soon. I’m excited to find my forever home.
