Shaka is an 8-year-old, pitch-black Staffie with a huge heart, big muscles, and energy that will surprise you at every turn 💪🐶
Don’t let the number fool you — this boy can easily keep up with dogs half his age and is always ready for the next adventure.
Shaka adores people. If you’re human, you’re already his favourite. He loves cuddles, couch time, road trips, and happily shares his evenings watching TV (from his spot on the couch… or your bed 😄). His house manners are excellent — no digging, no destruction (unless it’s his toys), and impeccable behaviour around food. Peanut butter is his love language 🥜💕
Despite his athletic side, Shaka is very much an indoor dog. A small home with limited garden space suits him just fine — he’d much rather be close to his people than wandering outside.
🌊 Adventures are his happy place
Walks, hikes, beach days — Shaka is all in. He has great leash manners, excellent recall, and can be trusted off-leash with an experienced handler. He even loves swimming (a Staffie in a life jacket is as cute as it sounds 🛟).
🐕 Dog dynamics
Shaka is mostly indifferent to other dogs but prefers his space. He communicates clearly and has good impulse control, making him best suited to a confident, breed-savvy home. He may be considered with one calm female dog of similar size.
🚫 No cats — and he’s very serious about that.
🩺 Health & care
Shaka is strong, robust, and in great health. Past skin issues are well managed with a raw diet, fish oil, and a Cytopoint injection every few months.
💛 The right home
Shaka isn’t a “set-and-forget” dog — he needs structure, leadership, exercise, and love. In return, you get an incredibly loyal, affectionate, people-focused companion who will give you his whole heart.
