MEET SAKKIE!!! (GAUTENG)
Sakkie is a handsome 4 year old male German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP)
He is very focused and obedient with a innocent demeaner. He loves to be around people and will beg for attention. – He is a softy and loves affection. He is good with the children he grew up with (5 years up to 12 years) but hasn’t interacted with other children. He is loving and happy towards strangers.
He very good with the dogs he currently lives with. His Ridgeback sister is being rehomed to family. It would be so lovely if Sakkie and his Rough Collie sister, Lexi, (on another post) can be adopted together however the can go separately as well. He is not aggressive at all and seems like the submissive type towards other dogs and will make friends with other similar dogs.
Sakkie is energetic and loves to play with a tennis ball. He thinks he is playing fetch, but in reality he chases the ball and then wants to see what’s inside it. He likes to walk on a leash and likes to lead the way – so you better keep up!
Sakkie does not like to be left alone often. It would be best to have a family where someone works from home. He gets a little separation anxiety if he is alone for too long.
Sakkie is a hunter of rats and mice and true to his nature, will be stuck in position and totally focused until you remove his attention away.
Sakkie LOVES food and will always try his luck with his puppy eyes to try get a second bowl of deliciousness. Don’t leave any delicious snacks on kitchen counters, he is a sucker for the tasty things in life and you will not be able to get mad as he will give you the most innocent and angelic look.
