MEET RALLY!!! (GAUTENG)
Handsome Rally is a 5 year old male Jack Russell Terrier.
Rally and his companion, Girlie (on another post), lost their human to cancer and they need to find new homes either together or separately.
Rally is a sweet, loving and playful dog with a friendly nature. He is quite sensitive and doesn’t respond well to loud, boisterous or demonstrative behaviour from his humans. It makes him shy away. He much prefers gentle and kind gestures.
He enjoys walks and is trained to walk well on a lead and off lead in enclosed parks. With training he could walk off lead in any environment. He doesn’t do well in a car at all and is not suited to travelling.
He is excitable on greeting but settles down afterwards. He loves affection and loves being around his humans.
He is moderately socialised with dogs but not with cats or other animals. He loves children and playing with them.
He pretty much knows all the standard dog commands and has a good understanding of human and canine dynamics.
He would make a fantastic companion for a single or elderly person, small family or couple that enjoy walking and love being affectionate to their canine companion. He would also be a good companion to a similar size and good natured female dog. He would not cope with being left alone without a human or dog companion.
