Phablo is a MAGNIFICENT 3 year old male Boerboel in need of an urgent new home.
This gorgeous boy has a calm nature yet a strong and protective instinct. He is looking for a loving forever home where he can share his affection, loyalty, and energy with a family who truly understands the Boerboel breed. He enjoys attention and is deeply devoted and loving toward his family, forming strong bonds with those he trusts. While gentle and affectionate, Phablo is also an excellent natural guardian who takes pride in protecting his people and territory.
He is intelligent and highly trainable but can be strong-willed, so he needs consistent training and clear boundaries from an experienced owner. Phablo is generally good with children and other dogs, though he can be cautious around new people. He’ll need time to adjust to his new surroundings, and gentle, gradual socialization with children and other animals will help him build confidence and understand that new faces aren’t a threat.
Phablo does best with someone who understands large, protective breeds and can provide both structure and affection. A family committed to providing training, companionship, love, and a sense of belonging in his new surroundings. This boy is truly magnificent with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He is a BIG BIG boy!!
A balanced mix of calm and playfulness, Phablo is full of life. He thrives in a home with a large, secure yard where he can run and play daily. Regular exercise and mental stimulation are important for his well-being.
Phablo has a sore back paw/leg but his owners are in the process of consulting with the vet to get treatment. He’s otherwise healthy and active.
