Hold onto your hats people!!!!!! Murphy is the CUTEST 3 year old male Dachshund Cocker Spaniel mix.
Sweet Murphy needs to find a new home as he was adopted to be a therapy doggy for a child with Autism, however, the child is not taking to him. His human mom is shattered but she has to rehome him for his sake.
Murphy is a very active and happy dog. He LOVES to play with some other doggo’s and also his humans. Murphy is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going to get. He is selective on which doggies he wants to be friends with. It depends on his mood.
During the quiet moments he will stretch out on the couch or bed for 40 winks or to recharge the energy!
He does not like water but LOVES to go to the beach. He really enjoys going for runs and walkies too and is great on his leash. He is a mischievous and naughty but lovable, SUPER cute and so full of life! All Dachshund and Spaniel lovers will KNOW EXACTLY what we mean!!
He is very protective of his humans and needs gentle introductions to new people. We will not place him with cats. He would be better with older children that will be gentle and kind to him.
He needs a family who will adore him, take him for walks and play with him with his toys. He loves his toys😪. A family that knows and understands his needs.
Over all, Murphy would love a family that will cuddle him, play ball with him and just allow him to be a part of the family.
