Maya was rescued a year ago, having been locked away alone in a garage for 2 years.
She doesn’t get along with the other dog in her current house and is currently being separated, causing quite a strain on everyone, especially Maya.
Sadly, she has a history of abuse having been beaten with a broomstick by the man she lived with previously, causing her to run and hide.
The lady she has been living with has worked really hard to build her confidence and she has worked through many of the issues she came with.
Maya is a powerful dog and can therefore only live in a house where she is the only dog.
She needs a strong, responsible & experienced person who is familiar with the breed, to give her a stable, secure & happy life.
Maya is a very loving and affectionate dog, great with people and kids, obedient with commands and a loyal, fearless and protective companion.
