Gauteng’s most adorable odd couple!
Some friendships are just meant to be… and Shadow & Kuba are proof of that. These two best friends are the perfect mix of adventure and cuddles — like peanut butter and jelly, sunshine and beach days, or cheese and… well… Kuba. 🧀🐾
They are very bonded and we would LOVE to see them stay together. But if two wonderful homes appear, we’ll consider letting each of them shine in their own way.
🐾 Shadow – The Adventurous Beach Babe (5 yrs | Labrador /Border Collie mix)
Shadow is pure sunshine wrapped in fur. She’s the kind of dog who believes every day should include fresh air, happy walks, and a splash in the ocean.
Her favourite things include:
🌊 Beach walks and wave-jumping
🎾 Chasing balls like a pro
🏊 Pool dips in summer
👣 Following her human everywhere
She’s affectionate, playful and fantastic with most doggies. She’s gentle with kids 8+ and has the happiest spirit.
Cats? Well… sometimes she chases them for fun… but she also lets one groom her. So their relationship is… complicated. 😹
Vegetables? Absolutely not.
Leftover food? Don’t mind if she does!
💛 Kuba – The Snuggle Champion (3 yrs | Dachshund / Labrador mix)
Kuba is the sweetest little soul with the biggest heart. If cuddling was an Olympic sport, he’d have gold medals.
His favourite things:
🤗 Sitting in your arms like a toddler
🧀 Cheese (obviously)
🚗 Beach drives with his head out the window
🌞 Sunshine naps
🌊 Frolicking along the shoreline
His short legs try their best with running, but cuddling is definitely his true talent. He loves people, prefers female dog friends, and may give cats a curious chase — but only out of excitement.
