If you’ve ever dreamed of a dog with the charm of a tiny gentleman, the heart of a teddy bear, and the personality of a little cartoon character… meet Kuba — the 3-year-old Dachshund x Labrador mix who genuinely believes he’s a small human. 
Kuba and his sister Shadow (5-year-old Lab x Collie) are currently staying at Best Friends Pet Lodge. They are incredibly bonded and we’d LOVE to find a home where they can stay together — but if the perfect families come along, we’ll consider splitting them.
Who Is Kuba?
A gentle soul with a dramatic flair.
A sun worshipper.
A cuddle addict.
A “wine and cheese” kind of guy (if he were human).
A brave little lion… who would definitely run screaming if he ever had to face the actual danger he’s growling at. Kuba’s Adorable Personality:
• Wants to be cuddled ALL. THE. TIME.
• Gives the best hugs by wrapping his little arms around you and nuzzling into your neck
• Should honestly have been named Pinocchio — he’s convinced he’s a real boy
• LOVES cheese treats and will even eat broccoli… as long as there’s mayo involved
• Has a happy dance when he sees you
• Loves walks… until he decides his tiny legs have had enough
• Beach adventures? YES! Pool swimming? Absolutely not.
• LOVES greeting new people
• Good with female dogs, not a fan of male doggos
• Harmless cat-chaser (more like cat-herder… with short legs)
Kuba is pure sunshine. Pure joy. Pure cuddles.
He is the kind of dog who becomes your shadow, your snuggle partner, your tiny comedian, and your best friend all in one. Could Kuba (and hopefully his best friend Shadow too!) be your next family members?
