MEET GUNS!!! (WESTERN CAPE)
This HANDSOME boy is Guns and he is a Staffordshire Terrier Mix of almost 2 years.
Guns is a very affectionate, cuddly dog who likes to spend time around his people and sleep on their laps. He enjoys being close to people. He is obedient and responds positively to praise and discipline. At feeding time, he will sit and wait to be petter and told that he is a good dog before he starts eating. He comes when you call or whistle for him.
He loves playing with balls and catches it but wouldn’t bring it back. He loves swimming and playing in water and enjoys running around in the rain. He enjoys wrestling with his brother and playing tug-o-war.
He likes all kind of treats like dry wors for dogs, hooves stuffed with peanut butter or dog mince, as well as dog biscuits. He also likes raw fruit and vegetables, for example carrots, cucumber, apples, watermelon, and bananas. He loves chewing on marrow bones.
He doesn’t enjoy walking on a leash, he prefers to run free the other two dogs he lives with. He has a lot of energy and will keep running around and sniffing for as long as I let him.
He is well socialised with female dogs of his size and/or breed. He currently lives with his brother, Goedheid, however their relationship changed after Guns was diagnosed and the owner would prefer to rehome them separately.
Guns has been diagnosed with Epilepsy and is on treatment. He has not had an attack since he started his medication.
