MEET GOEDHEID!!! (WESTERN CAPE)
This handsome chap is a male Staffordshire Terrier Mix of almost 2 years of age.
Goedheid is a very loving, cuddly dog who likes to spend time around his people and sleep on their laps. He enjoys being close to people. He is obedient and responds positively to praise and discipline. At feeding time, he will sit and wait to be petted and told that he is a good dog, before he starts eating.
He loves playing with balls and would pick his favourite one from the crate of toys. He will fetch the ball and bring it back. He loves playing in water but does not like being out in the rain. He enjoys wrestling with his brother and play tug-o-war.
He likes all kind of treats like dry wors for dogs, hooves stuffed with peanut butter or dog mince, as well as dog biscuits. He also likes raw fruit and vegetables, for example carrots, cucumber, apples, watermelon, and bananas. He loves chewing on marrow bones.
He doesn’t enjoy walking on a leash, he prefers to run free the other two dogs he lives with. He has a good recall and will return when you whistle. As long as the other dogs run with him, he enjoys it as they chase one another, It is not so much fun for him when he is alone.
He is well socialised with female dogs of his size and/or breed. He currently lives with his brother, Guns, however their relationship changed after Guns was diagnosed and the owner would prefer to rehome them separately.
