MEET JADE & GHOST!!! (GAUTENG)
Currently at Manderstons Kennels in Midrand.
Jade is a gorgeous 5 year old female Boxer Staffordshire Terrier mix and her companion, Ghost is a 2 year old male White German Shepherd.
We are desperately looking for a forever or foster home for them – preferably together (they are a bonded pair). They were surrendered at Xmas – original owner emigrated to Canada.
Jade is a cuddle bunny – she loves attention and is very gentle. Jade is good with kids but not sure about cats.
Ghost is still very young, playful and untrained and can be boisterous (he is a big dog & doesn’t yet know his own strength), so small children are not a good idea – also don’t know about cats. He is also very affectionate and loving.
We are unsure as to how well socialised they are with other dogs because they are protective of each other right now due to their unsettled circumstances. According to the kennel carers, they are fairly non-reactive to other dogs at the kennels where they are now.
They are very loving, polite and house trained. They also respond very quickly to basic commands (quick learners too) – recall is good, sit and stay not too bad. They walk fairly well on a lead and travel quietly in the car. Ghost follows where Jade leads.
They are indoor dogs and will be accompanied with all their basic necessities like beds & blankets, bowls, collars and leads, brushes etc. A secure property is needed.
