Pawdy do everyone
My new name is Champ, I say new, because for as long as I can remember, I did not have name. I like having my own name.
I come from the village of Nieu Bethesda, where I shared my home, and whatever food morsels or scraps there were to share,
with 7 other dogs. This means that some days when we were lucky we got fed, and other days, not.
Fortunately my owners realised that they were not able to care for us all, and surrendered 4 of us to the people of CSI. I did not
know what to expect, but nothing could be much worse than the life we were living and the constant hunger pangs.
To make a long story short, we are now in a foster home, but VERY MUCH NEED our OWN homes that are willing to love us and
take care of us. We do not ask much – just that you feed us, give us a warm bed, LOVE us and let us love you back. And feed us
….. did I say FEED us? I kid you not, in our foster home, there are magic food bowls that NEVER goes empty, no matter HOW much
we eat – and boy – are we making up for lost meals …. it feels like heaven on earth – foster Mom says I’ll soon turn into a “potjie-rol” –
not sure what that is – she says it means there will just be “more of me to love”.
Foster Mom says that today she will send out pics of me, Champ, to show the world what a handsome boy I am. I have never been
called “handsome” before …. Blush. Most people say I am just an “average looking township boy”, but foster Mom says with my
Hazel eyes, pink nose and beautiful smile, I am sure to catch someone’s eye ….. I sure hope she is right! I sooo dream of my very
own family one day …. SOON!!!!
I am about 2 years young and medium sized. To apply to take me home, please contact 072 1762 175 or [email protected].
I lived with a lot of other doggies, but not with cats. My best friend is Missy. I would very much like if she can come and live with me
too, but will understand if that may not be possible. Missy is still a pup-squeak of around 9 mnths young.
