MEET BABA & POPPIE!!! (GAUTENG)
U R G E N T These two gorgeous gals are Poppie and Baba. They are 8 year old siblings and are very very bonded and need to be adopted together.
They are being rehomed with their other sister, Lady, however she can go separately as she is not as bonded with them as they are with each other.
DON’T let their age fool you though! Jackie lovers KNOW these doglets have energy for days and never get old!
Baba is a cheerful, gentle, and affectionate dog with a friendly nature and an easy-going attitude. She’s smaller than the others and tends to be slightly more submissive and sweet, often looking for a little reassurance from her people. She’s very people-oriented and forms bonds quickly once she feels safe. Though she can be a bit cautious at first, she’s not overly shy. Baba enjoys affection and will happily lie close by or follow you from room to room. She’s not overly energetic but does enjoy bursts of play, especially with her dog companions, followed by long naps in the sun or on the couch.
Poppie is a calm, sweet-natured, and independent dog with a gentle spirit. Compared to the other dogs in the home, she’s more laid-back and observant—content to relax quietly and do her own thing. She’s not overly demanding and tends to be more of a background companion than a centre-of-attention type. Though initially shy around new people or unfamiliar settings, Poppie warms up in her own time and becomes very affectionate with those she trusts. She isn’t clingy, but she definitely enjoys calm company and being near her humans. Poppie is happiest indoors, where she can snooze in her favourite spot or quietly keep an eye on what’s going on. She’s well-adjusted to household life and doesn’t require much beyond a peaceful space and a bit of affection.
