Azriel is the most handsome Boerboel you’ll ever meet, with the rare, jaw-dropping Ysterberg gene colouring and a personality that could steal hearts for a living. He’s a social butterfly, a total goofball, and the kind of dog who makes every single day better just by existing.
Think Labrador joy, Husky side-eye, and Boerboel strength rolled into one big, wiggly, lovable package. He will judge you if you stop giving cuddles. He will comment with a dramatic side glance. And he will love you harder than you ever thought possible 💘
Azriel’s hobbies include:
🎾 Playing tug-of-war with himself
🎾 Throwing the ball… to himself
🐋 Random floppy flops like a beached whale
🤼 Wrestling the floor (yes, really)
💦 Swimming in open water
😴 Napping like a professional
He’s excellent with other dogs and would LOVE a playful medium-to-large breed female friend who enjoys a good rough-and-tumble. When you come home, his 45kg body does full-on wiggles, and thanks to the neighbours’ dogs, he now greets his people with a howl 🐺
Azriel is smart, eager to please, and knows his basics (sit, stay, down, recall, leave it). He thrives with engaged humans who enjoy play, training, and confidence-building. He focuses beautifully once comfortable and checks in for reassurance when unsure 🧠✨
He’s lived peacefully with cats (he actually loves them 😻) however we cannot say how he would be with new kitties. He is good with children, but due to his size, we’d prefer a home with older kids.
He’s a little reserved with strangers at first — give him 5 minutes and he’ll be lining up for bum scratches.
Azriel needs a breed-savvy, loving home where he’s part of the family.
