Please note that Barking Mad is not a physical shelter, but rather a networking platform where we assist families and rescue centres all over the country to rehome their pets responsibly. If you are applying for a specific pet on our website, we will contact the pet's current family to confirm that they are still available for adoption. Once we hear back from them, we will contact you to confirm and proceed with the adoption process, which consists of an application form and home inspection after which we can arrange for you to meet the pet you are interested in adopting. Should the pet you are applying for no longer be available, we will match you with another pet on our site who may be a suitable match for your family.
